Dark Corner Apothecary

The Dark Corner - the namesake for our business - is a small geographical area in upstate South Carolina, bordering the Appalachian mountains. It occupies the northeastern part of Greenville County, including the foothills of Glassy and Hogback Mountains. Occupants of this beautiful but rugged terrain were subsistence farmers who had to be self-sufficient and willing to fight just to survive. Their communities relied on tradition and homeopathic remedies, handed down from generation to generation, to survive and thrive in their isolated environment.
