Amora is a love letter. It is a love letter to roses and neroli and the joyful surprise of the unexpected. A bright invitation, we tested dozens of different rose absolutes and oils, and neroli extracts from Asia, Europe, North Africa to find just the perfect kiss of jammy rose and peppery neroli. Like a coquette that masks their experience with playfully coy innocence, Amora suggests something bright and simple at a glance. Past the glance, there is something much richer, more beguiling, and altogether deeper. A love letter to innocence, to experience, and, of course, there is leather.Of note, the rose that finally got us here is actually a marvel on its own, a somewhat new rose extract made from upcycled rose petals! Literal discards that have been brought back to life after the first distillation and provide a wholly unique, jammy, leathery goodness that is an absolute marvel of modern green tech. The neroli notes come from a special neroli grown and processed in Tunisia, the most remarkable of any we found.
