Fever Dream

The silk tree, also known as mimosa, is exceptionally well-named. The magnificent blossoms are genuine olfactory silk: impossibly soft, refined, delicate, inviting. It is multifaceted: lightly floral, but also fruity. Somewhat reminiscent of almond, but on second pass warm and creamy. This is a fragrance built around an overdose of silk tree blossom absolute, but it isn’t an overtly floral fragrance. It is vanilla, warm grasses, a lactonic softness over amber woods. The florals here are silk draped over sculpture: soft edges over something familiar but mysterious.
