Loretta kept her eyes on the screen, typing at a pretty decent pace for a woman who grew up before computers were commonplace. She still wasn’t fully computer literate per se, but she knew what she needed to do her job well, and that was all that mattered to her. She’d been at this company for nearly forty years; everything ran through her. But now, that was all ending. Retirement was hours away.
