La Reine Des Fleurs
By: DSH Perfumes
Commissioned by Denver Art Museum for their “Untitled #63: au naturel” event in conjunction with their Passport to Paris exhibit, La Reine des Fleurs was inspired by French artist Eugene Carriere’s late 19th Century painting “Young Girl with Flowers”. The imagine (which can be viewed at dshnotebook ) is both dramatic and innocent, sophisticated and youthful. It evokes a kind of interplay of childish things and a lush elegance. It is this sense of beauty in two worlds that is expressed in La Reine des Fleurs.
