Le Sazerac

In the French Quarter, since the early 1800’s, an enigmatic (and delicious!) cocktail has been served to those in the know: the Sazerac. The drink is made with rye whiskey, absinthe, bitters, lemon zest, and sugar. It was an incredible adventure to create a fragrance speaking to the elegance of the Sazerac, giving a sense of the drink itself as well as imbuing it with a greater sense of atmosphere with added tobacco smoke, and hints of leather. The all botanical palette makes the journey all the more voluptuous.
