Nepenthe
General Notes
- vanilla
It was Helen of Troy, perfume drenched and proffering solace, who gave Nepenthe to some who suffered grief and loss after the Trojan war. Homer wrote of this balm "a potion to quiet all pain and strife, and bring forgetfulness of every ill." We think this is a perfect name for this transportive embrace to joy's shores.
