This fragrance is inspired by the word palimpsest — a manuscript or piece of writing material on which the original writing has been effaced to make room for later writing but of which traces remain; something reused or altered but still bearing visible traces of its earlier form. Of course every perfume is designed to have layers to it, but special thoughtfulness to the theme of palimpsest was taken when creating this blend. Made with the scents of black tea, rosewood, tobacco flower, ginger, honey, vanilla, lemon, teakwood, and benzoin. Warm, woody, and slightly sweet and resinous. Reminiscent of old manuscripts, both illuminated and mundane. The perfect combination for exploring all the layered complexities of life! This scent is part of the "beautiful words" collection — a celebration of poetry, literature, and the nuanced beauty of language.
