Pertelote (The Nun’s Priest’s Tale)
By: Possets
General Notes
- canny rooster
- fabulous
- low
Pertelote (PEAR-teh-low-teh) is a hen who was one of the "wives" of Chanticleer, the fabulous and canny rooster. The Nun's Priest's Tale is an Aesop fable about a rooster who outsmarts a hungry fox. Very entertaining and one of the most popular of all the Canterbury Tales. Smooth brown sugar and cream mix with a twist of funnel cake and a light addition of pineapple juice, and a dusting of sweet spices for an alluring foody combination that is out of this world. Nothing but decadent fun. Type: foody
