Poet's Garret

As raindrops perform a soothing rhythm atop the roof, and crackling, burning wood bring nuance and surprise, the poet settles into her grandfather's leather chair and begins to write. Urban mist mingles with an ensemble of violets, lavender, and petit grain perched upon the round wooden table. History gently seeps out from the flocked wallpaper, thick upholstery, and collected paintings. An exuberant mix of amber and clary sage rises from the floor to fill the spaces in-between.
