'Sylvia' is an aromatic chypre inspired by the character Sylvia Fowler in the 1939 film, 'The Women,' played by Rosalind Russell. Because of Sylvia's stylish fashion sense, it seemed she would seek out a unique, exclusive scent, so I chose Caron's 'Alpona' as a loose model for this fragrance.
