Twilight Canter

Description This scent was available in our Anniversary Advent as Day 13.. Scent Notes: Hay, vanilla, apple, leather, autumn spices It's not easy going back home after a decade in the city. The hustle and bustle, the people, the food and thrill. Your accent is barely discernible anymore and your clothes get you extra stares and unsolicited comments. It can be so draining. However,there is one thing that never ceases to put you at ease and settle your soul. As the sun starts to fall, you head out to the pasture and throw some hay over the gate while the sound of the water hose splashes in the trough. You dig around in a sack of apples and hold your hand out flat, then wipe the slobber on your pants. You scoop up some grain and delight in the smells around you. As you pass by the tack stall, you impulsively decide to pick up a brush and get to work on the day's dust and sweat. What the heck, you are only here for a few days. You pick out the reins and begin tacking up. As you slide your foot into the stirrup, the sun has just barely dipped below the vast horizon, and at first you just trot around a little, getting warmed up, feeling the saddle, but soon you break into a canter and cool air breezes past, the hoof beats rhythmic under you. A twilight canter through the field is something you have to experience to understand, and no matter how long you live in the urban jungle, nothing can match the absolute peace and joy of this moment.
